Paul Feig to produce new Peanuts movie

Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) is set to oversee the new animated Peanuts film slated for 2015. Peanuts will be directed by Steve Martino and will be based off the characters created by Charles Schulz. This will be Paul Feig's first animated feature.

Despite Feig's involvement with adult comedies such as Bridesmaids and The Heat, Peanuts is promised that the film will be family friendly. The script has been written by Schulz's son Craig along with Bryan Schulz and Cornelius Uliano. Peanuts is slated for release on November 6, 2015.
