Leaving on a jet plane...

Off to Dallas in the morning for Texas Frightmare Weekend. I am so excited. I don't even have the words right now.

Feeling quite random today

I'm off to Texas one week from today for Texas Frightmare Weekend (FUCK YEAH!)

I sometimes think I cuss too much... meh, oh well.

I so cannot wait for Thor to come out. It's probably unhealthy.

I'm in a fashion show at work tomorrow and I don't really want to do it, but at the same time I want to do it. It'll be alright. We get 50% off whatever we wear.

I want another tattoo already... or two or three.

I want warmer weather already. I am tired of sweatshirts and hoodies.

I can't decide which shoes to wear to work today. Damn it.

I don't know why I am so random today. It's not even 9:30am yet and my brain is running at 100mph.

Thor is kicking ass

And it doesn't come out until May 6th.

It's currently sitting at a 90% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes with 96% saying they "want to see." For a movie that isn't out yet that is pretty damn good. Not to mention it's a superhero movie.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!

Scream 4

LOL

Seriously... I laughed through that whole movie. I was kind of surprised that I actually enjoyed it, though. Nowhere near the best Scream movie but it was enjoyable enough. Who knew Emma Roberts had that in her?

Mildred Pierce on HBO

Thumbs up. Seriously.

The fact that they did a 5 part mini-series in 3 weeks was a little exhausting because they crammed together 1 & 2 and 4 & 5, but I loved every minute of it. Kate Winslet is still as lovely as ever and hot damn does Evan Rachel Wood play a good villain. I don't know if you should necessarily call her character, Veda, a villain but I am going to anyway. I wanted to beat the shit out of that character pretty much throughout the two parts she was in (4 & 5). I'm disappointed Veda wasn't grown up for 3 parts instead of just the last two. She is that good. The girl they had playing Veda in the first 3 parts got the job done, too.

It was just wonderful. I love HBO.

Your Higness... lulz, kind of.

I went and saw Your Highness on Friday night with one of my friends. It was funny enough to say I didn't feel like I wasted money, but after sitting on it a couple days now it really wasn't all that good. A lot of the jokes fell flat, James Franco's character was really whiny and annoying, Danny McBride was funny but it was the same joke the whole time, and Natalie Portman's character they keep hyping as this badass, vulgar warrior was not only not that vulgar but she wasn't in the movie much. She came in about halfway through and even then just kind of popped in and out and hardly had any dialogue. She was more wandering around shooting arrows at things.
Funnier than Pineapple Express, but almost anything is funnier than Pineapple Express.

Bring on Thor, tbh. I am ready.

We've officially been trolled by American Idol

So... you mean to tell me, or try to, that Jacob Lusk, Casey Abrams, and Paul McDonald are better than Pia Toscano? HOW IN THE FUCK DID THIS GIRL NOT GET PAST THE TOP 9?!

She was never off key. She never missed a note. She never, ever picked a song that didn't suit her voice. So what if she isn't jumping around the stage every week. That isn't who she is. She hit notes that we thought were only possible for Celine Dion and Mariah Carey, FFS. Not only did she hit them but she murdered them. I just can't believe that some people on this season, specifically the three I listed above, have made it past her. People are afraid to tell all of them that they suck. Jacob shrieks every week and is flat all the fucking time, Paul sounds like an awkward 13 year old trying to sing in the shower, and Casey is a grunting creeper who tries too hard to be Joe Cocker. They are terrible. Pia is the most amazing singer I have ever witnessed in my 5 seasons of Idol thus far. I am completely in shock.

Thanks a lot for wasting the save in the Top 11 on Casey, judges. How does this one feel? Fucking idiots.

Prices of movies is getting ridiculous.

I was on Amazon and saw that Tron: Legacy is set to come out this month. However, if you want to buy the Blu-Ray prepare to drop like $50 because they're packaging it with the original Tron and including a digital copy. Not to mention a version of the film in 3D being included.

That, my friends, is lame.

I wish I had my camera

So my mom decided she wanted to finally watch Black Swan. Her face at the end of that movie was priceless. I wish I captured it on film, haha. It was a mixture of "what the fuck" and "why did she do that" and "I love the ballet."

Overall success. I had a feeling she would either hit me or walk out at the lesbian scene. All she said was, "well this is graphic." <3 you, mumsie.
