New look at Frankenweenie

And apparently we get the trailer tomorrow, March 1st. Yes!

AMC agrees to develop 99 Stories

99 Stories is a new series that AMC is going to develop to be part of Monsterfest (I assume 2012), the continuous 240 hours of horror films. The basic premise is:

"Set in a new 99-story high-rise building in which a group of strangers gets trapped."

I think this sounds interesting and I will most likely catch it. AMC Monsterfest is some of my favorite TV programming of the whole year.

Warner Bros. ditching Akira for Bleach

Warner Bros. might still get Manga to a theater near you. The studio announced that with the live adaptation of Akira on hold, possibly for good, they will move forward with trying to bring a live adaptation of Bleach to life. Dan Mazeau and Peter Segal have already been pegged to adapt the Manga and possibly produce/direct it as well.

I'm not a Manga fan and am the first to say I really don't know much of anything about it, but I have friends that are into it and love this shit. My boyfriend has a case full of Anime figurines and whatnot so I might as well start paying attention... ffs.

Bill Murray not doing Ghostbusters 3

According to Dan Aykroyd, that is. Aykroyd said in an interview that the project as a whole is suspended for right now and that Bill Murray has no interest in being involved.

I think I might start dancing.

Vacation reboot gets Horrible Bosses writers to direct

Oh, fuck me. Must they reboot/remake everything?

http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Horrible-Bosses-Writers-Direct-Vacation-Reboot-29671.html

Mike Tyson will return for The Hangover III

Fucking hell. I agree with this statement 100%:

One of the key reasons that I disliked The Hangover Part II as much as I did was because of Mike Tyson. It was bad enough that the entire plot was just a copy and paste job from the first, but bringing Tyson back for absolutely no reason was really the last straw

I really loved The Hangover, don't get me wrong, but I didn't like The Hangover II hardly at all. It was the first movie in a different city which was ridiculous. The sequel had so much potential and they wasted it. I was hoping they wouldn't make a third but they are and now Mike Tyson will come back yet again. Damn son.

Petition to urge MPAA to overturn Bully rating signed by thousands

Honestly, for the MPAA to stand so firmly to an R-rating due to nothing but language, and not violence, is really retarded. I remember hearing kids use swear words as young as 3rd grade, if not younger. I think kids that are allowed to see PG-13 movies can handle some swearing.

I don't know what is more mind boggling... the fact that the MPAA is citing language as reasoning and not violence in a movie centered around bullying or if the movie really contains that little violence and is about bullying. Either way, I hope the film somehow gets a PG-13. Kids should see it.

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/bully-r-rating-mpaa-petition-295747

Fuck! How did I not know about this?!

So I will be in California starting March 11th and will be there until March 17th. While reading Collider this morning I see that the final schedule for WonderCon was announced and that takes place March 16-18 at the Anaheim Convention Center. That is right down the street from where I will be all week.

The main question is... HOW DID I MISS THAT FOR FUCKS SAKE?
I would have extended my trip through the weekend if I would have known WonderCon was that week. Holy fuck I am so pissed at myself right now. They are showing footage from Snow White and the Huntsman (with guests from the film), Lockout, Sound of My Voice, and Resident Evil: Retribution (with guests). I could scream right now.

I wonder if I can change my flight this close to me leaving. I would sacrifice and go back Sunday instead of Saturday in a heartbeat... in reality I just want to have to opportunity to maybe see Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth in person. Even if it's from far away. Don't judge my life choices.

Alan Ball stepping down as head writer of True Blood

I don't quite understand why this is happening. I fear the 5th season even more now.

Netflix to lose Starz on February 28th

http://social.entertainment.msn.com/movies/blogs/the-hitlist-blog.aspx?feat=32c90d71-e459-49c6-baee-e0c306b22a1b

Basically Netflix let their contract with Starz expire. This means any streaming movies through Starz Play will not be available after midnight tonight.

Netflix is gonna go down in flames. It's a little unfortunate.

Well, there you have it. I predicted The Artist would win big and it did. However, I did not anticipate Meryl Streep and Jean Dujardin winning so that genuinely surprised me. I was positive it would be Viola Davis and George Clooney.
I am, however, very disappointed that Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo lost out on Best Original Screenplay for Bridesmaids. The members of the Academy officially have no sense of humor. And what the fuck at Rise of the Planet of the Apes not winning Best Visual Effects? I loved Hugo but put credit where credit is due, people.

Billy Crystal should host every Oscar telecast until he retires. He's the only one who can do it right.

And honestly... Twilight in the beginning film montage? Really? How about we stick to films that actually mean something and/or were nominated for Oscars. Fucking hell. I screamed the moment I saw Kristen Stewart's face on my TV.

I'm laptop-less...

I finally took in my laptop to be fixed... hopefully... so that means that I am without my laptop for up to 2 weeks because they can't start working on it until March 1st.

Gonna be a little slow around here again. Sorry.

I can accept this.

Sacha Baron Cohen Oscar ban lifted

So... this was obviously a publicity stunt. Asshole.

http://insidemovies.ew.com/2012/02/24/sacha-baron-cohen-oscars-dictator/

I don't know why I expected anything different. The guy has no talent so it's not like he can do anything else.

Sacha Baron Cohen banned from the Oscars

Honestly, I am laughing so hard at this.

Basically Cohen was banned from attending the Oscars disguised as his new character, General Alladeen, from his upcoming film The Dictator. The Academy withdrew Cohen's tickets to the event as a precautionary measure. Now Cohen is bitching up a storm claiming The Academy took away his free speech and issued a threat saying they would face severe consequences if his tickets weren't reinstated by noon on Sunday.
I have seen Cohen's antics in public with his previous characters, Borat and Bruno, and I can't say that I blame those running the Oscars one bit. I probably would have done the same thing. If he wants to attend the event it will not be as a character which serves no purpose other than to promote his upcoming film. A film that will, no doubt, be vulgar and inappropriate for young viewers. Let's face it... kids do still watch the Oscars. I hope they stick to their guns with this one and tell Cohen to shove it up his ass.

The Weinstein Co. loses appeal to MPAA

http://insidemovies.ew.com/2012/02/23/bully-mpaa-rating-weinstein/

There is an upcoming documentary called Bully to be released, which I think everyone should see, and The Weinstein Company was complaining earlier this week because the MPAA gave the film an R-rating. The film company claimed that with the rating the people who need to see it most wouldn't be able to and that they didn't want to have to re-edit the film. TWC appealed to the MPAA trying to get the rating lowered to PG-13 and they lost by one vote keeping the R-rating in place. As a result, TWC is now threatening to leave the MPAA. By leaving the MPAA this puts them in a severely sticky spot. The plus side is the film would be released with no official rating. However, without a rating the amount of theaters that will carry the film is limited.

After seeing the trailer I am siding with The Weinstein Company on this one. Fuck the MPAA. They don't realize that this is a film that needs to be seen and to show the root of what is really going on in the schools with these kids the film should remain as raw and honest as possible. I have seen plenty of movies that had a rating it either didn't deserve or shouldn't have had. Why the crackdown with this one?

New image of The Hulk from The Avengers

I have to admit that The Hulk is looking pretty sweet.

2012 Academy Awards

The Academy Awards are this upcoming Sunday, February 26, and normally I would be super excited by now. However, after being given such a shitty list of nominations including many omissions I am not. I was thinking about the major categories and I just wanted to share my ideal Oscar list for what 2011 gave.

Best Picture:
Should be - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (but it wasn't even nominated)
Will be - The Artist

Best Actor:
Should be - Michael Shannon for Take Shelter (but he wasn't nominated)
Will be - George Clooney for The Descendents

Best Actress:
Should be - Rooney Mara for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Will be - Viola Davis for The Help

Best Supporting Actor:
Should be - Sir Ben Kingsley for Hugo (but he wasn't nominated)
Will be - Christopher Plummer for Beginners

Best Supporting Actress:
Should be - Melissa McCarthy for Bridesmaids
Will be - Octavia Spencer for The Help

Best Director:
Should be - Martin Scorsese for Hugo
Will be - Michel Hazanavicius for The Artist

Best Original Score:
Should be - Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (but they weren't nominated)
Will be - Ludovic Bource for The Artist

Such a disappointing year. I am tempted to not even watch this time around. The Walking Dead is on at the same time anyway, so I have a plausible argument going.

Mother's Day remake is basically direct to DVD

A little disappointing but after seeing that happened with the other Darren Lynn Bousman project, 11-11-11, it isn't much of a surprise.

Basically his remake of Mother's Day will be getting a limited theatrical run in LA, Chicago, and NYC on May 4th, 2012 and will be released on DVD/Blu-Ray on May 8th, 2012. This stars Rebecca DeMornay, Deborah Ann Woll, Jamie King, Brianna Evigan, Patrick John Flueger, Shawn Ashmore, and Lyriq Bent.

http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/28463

I was looking forward to a theatrical release but whatever. Can't win them all, Darren.

The Hunger Games

Just to say, I cannot wait to see this movie. I started reading the books and am really enjoying them.

Everyone should go see it. That whole argument about kids killing kids... no big deal. It's just a story.

Recap of my absence

I have resorted to using my old, and very slow, laptop to post on here. I haven't had a chance to get back to Micro Center to fix my newer computer so I still can't connect to Google for whatever reason. Very annoying but whatever. I use my mom's computer when I get the chance but I will use this one and deal with Windows Vista once again. Sick.

Anyways...
We got a poster for Pirahna 3DD (retarded looking).

Robert Pattinson admitted he didn't want to continue with Twilight if Lionsgate chooses to do so because he feels too old.

Bill Condon apparently wants to re-edit Breaking Dawn Parts 1 & 2 into one movie and include more adult scenes for a Director's Cut DVD release.

Cosmopolis and On the Road are rumored to be screened at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival. Cosmopolis stars Robert Pattinson while On the Road stars Kristen Stewart... kind of excited for On the Road. I love that book.

People found out Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance sucked. (duh)

Mark Millar confirmed that Kick-Ass 2 starts filming this summer. No word on any returning cast members, or if director Matthew Vaughn will return, but I guess we'll wait and see. I remember seeing an interview with Chloe Moretz during the Hugo press tour and when asked about a second Kick-Ass she got kind of giddy and said we had to be patient. (http://www.nme.com/filmandtv/news/mark-millar-confirms-kick-ass-2-will-be-shot-this/260502)

Comcast (aka, Xfinity) wants to launch a service called Streampix. Most are saying already that it would be Netflix's kiss of death. I have no problem believing that. I have Comcast and I must say that the On Demand service is better than Netflix about 80% of the time. At least when it comes to movies. Streampix is also only going to be an additional $4.99 a month for streaming whereas Netflix still sits at $7.99 for streaming. Not to mention the additional $7.99 to add DVD rentals on top of streaming.

Natalie Portman joined two upcoming projects by Terrence Malick which will also star Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett. The projects are titled Knight of Cups and Lawless. After seeing The Tree of Life I am not too excited for more Malick, but I love me some Natalie Portman so I'll pay attention to these. Not to mention this confirms she is returning to work after having her baby. She teased people saying she was going to quit acting so in a way I guess this is good news. Portman is also returning soon to film Thor 2, so hooray.

We also got trailers for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and The Devil's Carnival.

That's all I can think of for now. If I find more stuff today I'll make another post. Sorry again for the absence. I'll try and tolerate this slow computer so I can keep up.

And props to PrettyMuchIt for retweeting my post on Twitter about Take Shelter.

Frankenweenie poster revealed

The first poster for the upcoming Tim Burton film Frankenweenie surfaced this week. I am really excited for this movie and think the poster looks great.

If you never saw the first go around of Frankenweenie, starring Daniel Stern, I have no doubt it is on YouTube somewhere. It was in the special features of the 10th anniversary DVD release of The Nightmare Before Christmas along with another Burton short titled "Vincent." That is also on YouTube. I have searched for it and found it before.

Review: Take Shelter

I first heard about this movie via Eric on Pretty Much It a month or so ago and seeing that he was so passionate about the film I wanted to give it a try. I had it in my Netflix list and when I saw it was available on iTunes I decided to just rent it on there and watch it now. I am very glad I did.

The movie is basically the story of a man named Curtis who lives in a rural town in Ohio. He has a wife and a young deaf daughter and he begins having hallucinations and dreams involving his family and his town. He has a family history of Schizophrenia and begins to worry, to himself, that he may be falling down that rabbit hole. He takes comfort in building himself a better storm shelter in his backyard to protect himself and his family from the storm he keeps hallucinating and dreaming about. It stars Michael Shannon (The Runaways, Pearl Harbor) as Curtis and Jessica Chastain (The Help, The Tree of Life) as his wife, Samantha.

Without spoiling anything because I also would love for people to see this movie and go in with a fairly clean mind, I just want to say that it was beautifully shot and acted. The plot was actually very good despite how simple it sounds. Curtis' dreams and hallucinations are very haunting after the fact. It's been about an hour since I finished watching and I am a little uneasy. It was fantastic. And I also have to say, agreeing with Eric, that I have absolutely no clue how this movie was 100% shut out from the Oscars. Michael Shannon deserves a Best Actor nomination, if not the win, for his performance. Fuck what Clooney did in The Descendents and what Pitt did in Moneyball. What Michael Shannon did with his character in Take Shelter was something amazing and it is truly a shame no one seemed to want to recognize that.

Seriously go give this movie a chance, guys. It is on iTunes, Netflix, etc.. It is really good.

Teaser for The Devil's Carnival surfaces... again.

This is a legit teaser trailer and not the 12-minute clip that was released in 2011. And I must say... I am very excited.

The minute I heard Terrence Zdunich's voice I got shivers.

Paranormal specialists to return in Insidious 2

I still wonder if Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne will return. I am slightly hoping so, tbh.

The Amazing Spiderman trailer #2

Another late one but here we go.

Personally I am still not excited for The Amazing Spiderman. I think the title is awful, Andrew Garfield is a dumb choice, etc.. I just don't like this at all. I'm  not planning on seeing it. I still might but it won't be because I want to.

Yet another photo from Dark Shadows surfaces

I appreciate this but seriously... where the fuck is the trailer? May will be here before we know it.
I am honestly surprised that we still have no trailer for this movie.

First footage of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

I approve of this message.

Breaking Dawn 2 trailer to premiere before The Hunger Games

I know this is a little late but my computer is still acting up. For some reason I can't open any website affiliated with Google. With that said, here are a couple things...

I read the other day that the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 will premiere before The Hunger Games on March 23rd. Whether it is just a short teaser or a full trailer was not specified. All we know is that it will be put on every print made of The Hunger Games. None of that screening only with certain theater chains or anything like that. If you see The Hunger Games on opening weekend, which I plan to, you will see the trailer.
All I really have to say about this is that this is coming really early for me. I don't remember exactly when we got the first trailer for BD Part 1 but I feel like it wasn't in March. The only reason this is happening is because The Hunger Games is a Lionsgate release and Lionsgate just bought Summit Entertainment, the holder of all the previous Twilight films. Lionsgate is trying to capitalize on the Twilight fanbase knowing that the trailer premiere will bring Twihards that probably wouldn't have gone to see The Hunger Games to begin with. I feel like there really isn't another big Lionsgate release in 2012 so in a way I'm not surprised. Ticket sales are ticket sales.
Personally, I was hoping for a second trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman before The Hunger Games. I figured the first trailer for BD Part 2 would be before Snow White in June. Oh well.

American Horror Story - season 2 teaser poster surfaces

http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/28302

I watched the first season of American Horror Story that premiered last October on FX, but I am really not all that excited for season 2. I think the season finale of season 1 combined with the fact that Ryan Murphy said the characters from season 1 won't be returning turned me off. I might not even watch it.

Amanda Palmer covers Nirvana... and nails it.

This is proof that Nirvana can be covered if done correctly. One of the best I have ever heard.

New stills from Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

My computer is still fucked up, but this is why there is another one in the house.

Anyway, there are new stills of the upcoming film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Judging from the Entertainment Weekly watermark I assume they will be featured in a magazine before too long. I'm so excited for this movie.

I'll post again when I get the chance and/or when I fix my laptop all the way.

Monday, February 6, 2012

Might be off for a little bit.

This is the first time since last night that I have been able to use my laptop outside of safe mode, so with that said I might not post regularly for a bit while I get everything fixed. I am going to try a full system restore, and hope all my backups reload properly, so wish me luck.

Fuck.

The Painted Doll of The Devil's Carnival

Emilie Autumn's character for The Devil's Carnival was released. She is portraying The Painted Doll. The poster scroll describes her as sensual, deadly, and venomous.

I'm starting to really get intrigued here.

Matthew Vaughn will return for X-Men sequel

This was speculated and rumored but now it is official. 20th Century Fox has hired Matthew Vaughn to direct a sequel to his 2011 film, X-Men: First Class. Also returning are James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2012/jan/31/matthew-vaughn-x-men-first-class?newsfeed=true

I'm curious as to how they will do this exactly. I am really excited that it's happening because I loved X-Men: First Class so much, but seeing that we already have five X-Men movies (X-Men, X-2, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and X-Men: First Class) somewhere there will be a wire that gets crossed or cut completely. That is unless they are going to completely ignore what happened with X-Men 1-3 which would be fine with me, minus the first. Then again, X-Men: First Class already crossed some wires and confused things a bit (specifically with Alex Summers and Beast) so maybe it really doesn't matter that much. First Class seemed to follow with X-Men Origins: Wolverine more than the first three movies.
Which speaking of Wolverine... he might have to be in the First Class sequel, right? Depending on what the timeline is that might work.

Bring it on, Mr. Vaughn.

Review: Chronicle

If you don't know the basics of the plot... three teenagers find something in a hole in the ground which either gives them or opens up their awareness of telekinetic powers. They begin exercising their powers to gain strength and one of the three boys begins using his powers to hurt people, destroy things, and steal. In other words, for evil instead of good.

I went into Chronicle with a lot of anticipation and was really excited to see it. I saw the first teaser trailer back in October or November and I was really intrigued. I also listed Chronicle as one of my most anticipated of 2012.
With that said, I found it to be mostly a big disappointment. I thought it was rushed, vague, and that it didn't reach the potential that it had going for it. I liked the characters and found that the only character that was really well developed, in comparison to the others, was Andrew (the one who starts using his powers for bad things).

Spoilers ahead. Beware.

The main thing I found so weird is how the three boys even got together. Andrew and Matt are cousins so that is how they know each other, but Steve just kind of pops in out of nowhere. They are all at a rave at an abandoned barn and Steve just happens to be with Matt who drags Andrew into finding out what was inside the hole in the ground. We also learn very quickly that the thing in the hole is what gives them their powers and nosebleeds. We never find out what it is or why it's there. You never see how they escaped the tunnel as the ground collapsed in on them just before the camera cuts out.
I also found it weird that Matt didn't know how bad Andrew's home life was. They were close cousins, ffs. Matt should have known that Andrew's mom was dying and that his dad was an abusive drunk. He acted so surprised when Andrew started going crazy and wanting to hurt people. The only one who had the right to be surprised was Steve.
And on top of all that Steve unexpectedly dies because of Andrew's temper. I hate to say this because I know how it sounds, but the movie didn't start getting interesting until Steve's death. That's when Andrew went mega crazy and the most stuff started happening. The use of multiple cameras (security cameras and home cameras) was really cool. I also did love the floating camera trick where Andrew used his powers to float the camera along with him so he and the other two boys could be seen at the same time. AND... the hospital scene where Andrew tries to kill his dad. I was in shock. That was the best scene in the whole movie. I am so happy that wasn't one of the scenes shown in the trailers and TV spots.
And I can't forget to mention that Andrew dies as well. Matt kills him by shooting a piece of a statue through his chest while he is attacking the whole city of Seattle. I found it odd that Matt was the only one of the three to live, but whatever. He had the most control and wasn't as strong as the others so I guess it works out. It ends with him saying he wants to find an answer and use his power to help people.

I feel like I'm just rambling on at this point. I don't know... Overall I wouldn't say it was bad but it wasn't anywhere near what I was expecting. The CGI was painfully average in some spots (specifically the baseball scene and the talent show scene), the flying scenes were ridiculous and over the top, the idea of them flying in general was retarded, and the pace was all off. Things happened way too fast with little to no explanation and it ended with the opening for a fucking sequel. Naturally.
I also don't like how just about every cool thing in the film was seen in the trailers and TV spots. The hospital scene I mentioned before and one other scene were about the only two things that you can't see in the trailers. Honestly, if you have seen both trailers, the online clips, and the TV spots for Chronicle you've practically seen the whole movie. You just wouldn't know that Andrew winds up in the hospital and that he and Steve die. That's about it.

It just wasn't what I expected and I'm kinda sad about that.

Anger Management to star Shawnee Smith and Selma Blair

Shawnee Smith and Selma Blair have been cast as Charlie Sheen's ex-wife and therapist in the upcoming show titled Anger Management. Taping is set to begin in March for a debut sometime in June.

The only reason I will be checking this show out is because Shawnee Smith was cast. If you don't know her she has been in Saw (I-III, VI), The Stand, Becker, The Blob (1988), Summer School, etc.. I absolutely love her. She was amazing in Becker so I am looking forward to having her on TV again. Then again, Becker was a legitimate good show so who knows. Charlie Sheen is such a loose cannon. We'll have to wait and see.
The fact that this show is going to be on FX and not on a basic network, like NBC or CBS, gives me hope. I have shows on cable networks that I have absolutely fallen in love with; Archer and American Horror Story (both on FX), True Blood (HBO), and The Walking Dead (AMC). FX seems to do something right so that's the main glimmer of hope I have for this one. Not to mention they must like Charlie Sheen seeing that Two and a Half Men is in syndication on the network.

Josh Hamilton apparently relapses

The guy is a recovering addict on a team that lost the World Series two years in a row after being ever so close to winning both times. Anyone would relapse at some point.
Players in the NBA and NFL have done worse and are still on their teams with no real consequence. Give the guy a break.

Insidious 2 welcoming back James Wan and Leigh Whannell

It was speculated for a while but apparently it is now official, or as close to official as we can get, that both James Wan and Leigh Whannell are returning for a sequel to Insidious. Despite the news of Whannell writing a new script and Wan possibly directing once again neither of them will release any hints to the plot of the sequel. That begs the question, will we see Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson one more time or will it be something completely different?

Personally, I don't want a sequel to Insidious. I will admit that I love horror and haven't been scared by a movie since I was about 6 years old when I saw It on TV. If a sequel is made it can go one of two ways for me... The first being that everything the first movie did to me would be ruined by a shitty sequel. The second being it scares me just as much or more than the first one. I don't really like either of those options. I feel like the ending to Insidious was the best thing it had going. The way it ended was creepy as hell and although it did leave it open it was one of those things (for me) that you didn't want answered. I liked the mystery at the end.

Leave it to Hollywood to fuck everything up. I love Wan and Whannell to death but I really don't want them to do this.

I had dreams with this image for weeks after seeing that movie.

Shiloh Fernandez announced for The Evil Dead

I feel like the only movie I have seen this guy in was Deadgirl. I had to look him up on IMDB to see who he was. The way this article makes it sound is that he will be the male lead alongside the female lead previously held by Lily Collins (she dropped out of the project a couple weeks ago).

Second image from Skyfall is released

Once again all I have to say is: Bond... James Bond.

Spiderman to have a cameo in The Avengers?

Speaking of The Avengers, apparently some council member named Jenny Agutter leaked that there was going to be a cameo from Spiderman in the film.

Personally I don't want that for the sheer fact that it will, no doubt, be Andrew Garfield because he is technically the new Spiderman. I think if this is true it is nothing but a cheap advertising stunt to promote The Amazing Spiderman which isn't even the same studio. The Avengers was put on by Paramount Pictures while The Amazing Spiderman belongs to Sony Pictures. The only thing they have in common is Marvel which is now, unfortunately, controlled by Disney. I love Disney but they will capitalize on anything by any means necessary.

What do you think? Yes or no? If it's even true, that is.

Special 3D glasses for The Avengers to be sold

My boyfriend told me about this the other day and he was under the impression that you would get a random superhero themed pair of glasses with your ticket purchase. Now I see that you'll have to pay extra to get the themed glasses, if you see The Avengers in 3D. That is so retarded.
