Nick Robinson in talks for Jurassic World

We just had a casting announcement for Ty Simpkins and previously one for Bryce Dallas Howard. We now have news that Nick Robinson (The Kings of Summer) is in talks for a role in Jurassic World. The 18-year old is apparently being sought after to play Simpkins' older brother.If you didn't see The Kings of Summer and are a television watcher, you might have seen him on Melissa & Joey as he is a regular cast member there.
In addition to Robinson, it appears that Jake Johnson (New Girl) is up for an unspecified role as well. I know this guy from No Strings Attached because I don't watch New Girl.


I have personally never seen Nick Robinson so I don't know what to expect from him, but apparently his role in The Kings of Summer was pretty good. I like that they aren't going for typical blockbuster actors, so we will see how this ensemble ends up. 

Jurassic World, directed by Colin Trevorrow, is set to hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
