It seems Sony has won the battle of the console with the reveal of the Playstation 4. Some major features that Microsoft didn't include with the Xbox One:
1. The PS4 won't require an internet connection to play
2. You can buy, sell, and share games as you please without penalty
3. Over 140 PS4 games are in development with at least 100 to be released at the time of the console launch
4. The price tag is $399 which is $100 less than the Xbox One
The basic consensus, and I saw it on my Facebook and Twitter accounts all night, is that Microsoft has seriously shot themselves in the foot and I agree. The PS4 runs miles around the Xbox One in terms of features and price. The inability to play games offline is absurd and the argument of "well everyone is online now" is ridiculous. Not everyone wants to play a game online. It's just a basic fact.
Goodbye Microsoft. The war is over.
Movie news, movie reviews, and basically whatever else I want to talk about. Come on in and join the party.
