The Hunger Games: Catching Fire finally has its Finnick Odair! As previously rumored Finnick will be played by Sam Claflin (Snow White and the Huntsman, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides). Meet Finnick Odair:
Finnick is a 24-year old, trident yielding victor from District 4.
He won the 64th annual Hunger Games and survived the Quarter Quell.
He mentored his love, and future wife, Annie Cresta for the 70th Hunger Games.
He is apparently the most attractive male in all of Panem.
He received his signature Trident as a sponsor gift.
He started as an enemy of Katniss but became an ally after the Quarter Quell.
He was killed during the second rebellion leaving Annie and a child behind.
