Despite using different actors for the motion capture filming, Paramount has made a somewhat surprising move and has cast voice actors for two of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles roles. Johnny Knoxville (Jackass) has been given the task to bring Leonardo to life while Tony Shalhoub (Monk) will voice Splinter.
We heard Michelangelo speak in the trailer, but there is no telling on if that voice will stay the same or if the other characters will also receive voice actors. Knoxville is an odd choice as Leonardo tends to be the leader of the group, but what can you do. He's popular and recognizable.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles also stars Megan Fox and Will Arnett. It opens on August 8th.
Movie news, movie reviews, and basically whatever else I want to talk about. Come on in and join the party.
