Eric Roberts joins The Human Centipede 3

He really must have nothing else going for him.

Oscar nominee Eric Roberts has joined the cast of The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence). If you know anything about the Centipede movies you probably know that it is a shit show... literally.
Tom Six has managed to not only make one movie but two and now a third. It's disgusting. The "final sequence" will feature Centipede alums Dieter Laser and Laurence R. Harvey along with newcomers Bree Olson, Tommy "Tiny" Lister, and Robert LaSardo.

It has been reported that this movie will feature a 500-person centipede and will take place in a prison. God help us.

Dieter Laser to return for The Human Centipede 3

Originally it was reported that Dieter Laser, who portrays Dr. Heiter in The Human Centipede, was not going to star in the third (and hopefully final) Human Centipede movie due to a lawsuit between him and the production company. We now have confirmation that Laser will indeed be in the third movie as the lawsuit has since been resolved. Also returning is Laurence R. Harvey who was the main character, Martin, in The Human Centipede 2.

The Human Centipede 3 will begin production in the United States this May and director Tom Six has spoken of a "major American celebrity" who will star in the film. He also promised a centipede made of at least 500 people.

I'm not prepared. The second one legitimately disgusted me and that is very difficult to do with me. Tom Six needs a therapist.

Problems for The Human Centipede 3 (thank God)

Apparently the "massive ego" of Dieter Laser (aka, the doctor from the first Human Centipede film) is causing problems for the third installment, The Human Centipede 3: Final Sequence. According to producer Ilona Six, Laser agreed to the third film and is now demanding unacceptable script changes. As a result Laser has refused to play the part with only 7 weeks until principal photography. Director Tom Six is now planning to sue Dieter Laser and says he will just postpone production until later this year if necessary.

However... Dieter Laser has since released a statement in regards to the legal issue Tom Six has chosen to create:
"It's very simple: I loved the story when it was told, got the contract and the promise to have the script in 4 to 6 weeks. When it arrived – half a year later and only after the official announcement – I didn’t like the realization at all, couldn't identify with the character the way it was written and developed immediately and enthusiastically in a day and night marathon a version full of concrete and practical suggestions which would enable me to play the lead full throttle – same procedure as with Dr. Heiter – but this time it also would have had some unavoidable effects to the dramatic structure. That was too much for Tom and since he couldn't live with my suggestions and I as a method actor couldn’t identify with his version, I told him that I couldn’t see any other way than that he would have to ‘change horses’. That's it.”

I personally hope that this permanently stalls production and potentially cancels it because The Human Centipede movies are complete pieces of shit, no pun intended.  Tom Six needs a padded room and a therapist as far as I'm concerned.
