FX has renewed the animated comedy Archer for a 5th season which will contain 13 episodes. We are currently in the middle of Season 4 which is set to end in mid-April with a 2-part season finale.
Archer has dominated the time slot it has on FX drawing in 44% more viewers in the 18-34 age bracket than it did for Season 2 and 36% more viewers than Season 3. It also is the #2 top watched cable show for the 18-34 age demographic right behind The Walking Dead.
Nick Grad, the president of FX original programming and development, called Archer "one of the very best comedy series on television." He later added that the quality of the show is "undeniable."
This is great news.
Movie news, movie reviews, and basically whatever else I want to talk about. Come on in and join the party.
