It was preciously reported that rather than do a Zombieland sequel they were going to take the characters and turn it into a television show. A pilot was filmed and it was set to air on CBS, but it never quite got off the ground.
However, we now have news that the Zombieland show is back on. io9 reports that casting calls went out for the title characters this week and it seems they will try to keep the humor from the movie. It also gives more in-depth character descriptions for Tallahassee, Columbus, Little Rock, and Witchita. It also introduces new characters Fred and Ainsley.
No news on which network will carry the show if it makes it this time around.
Personally, I think they should leave Zombieland alone. It was a great movie but it has the potential to get tired and worn out if they stretch it too far. I didn't even want them to make a sequel to the movie.
Movie news, movie reviews, and basically whatever else I want to talk about. Come on in and join the party.
